WESR is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in a search for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant operations at a high-performing production facility. This role is a strong fit for a hands-on leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and driving results in a fast-paced industrial workplace.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily operations across a manufacturing production environment
- Drive a strong culture around safety, accountability, quality, and performance
- Improve production efficiency, equipment uptime, cost control, and overall plant results
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of production goals
- Use data, KPIs, and root-cause problem solving to improve performance
- Coach and develop supervisors, leads, and hourly team members
- Help strengthen operating discipline, communication, and continuous improvement across the site
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial operations leadership experience
- Experience leading teams in a plant, mill, or heavy manufacturing environment
- Strong safety leadership and people-development skills
- Background improving production performance, reliability, quality, and cost
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, or similar improvement tools is a plus
- Engineering, operations, manufacturing, or technical degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
