Job description
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various machines and equipment for production, packaging, and material handling of abrasive material. This is a backfill position. the hourly pay is $23.50 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Operate bagging machines to fill various sized bags of abrasives
- Lifting bagged product up to 55lbs on a regular basis
- Unload and fill product silos
- Basic machine troubleshooting
- Wrap final skids and ensure properly labeled
- Operate forklift to move various product throughout facility
- Complete material tracking, and final product paperwork
- Maintain clean and secure working areas
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
- Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Other duties as assigned
Job requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Forklift experience
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
