As a Member Services Representative:
You will be joining a team of highly engaged financial service professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience!
In this role, we will rely on you to provide compassionate service, while positioning Meridianâs products and services to add value to our Membersâ financial wellbeing.
Member Experience
- Provide a superior Member experience through the identification and promotion of products and services and where appropriate, and provide qualified referrals based on identified needs
- Demonstrate perseverance in difficult situations by showcasing understanding to Membersâ perspectives, and creating action plans to resolve their concerns if they arise
- Ensure proper due diligence by posting all transactions accurately and timely
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect Membersâ privacy
- Participate in branch activities in support of expanding the Member relationship and growing our Digital Ambassador Program
Employee Experience
- Act as an engaged teammate and trusted partner to build and cultivate internal relationships within the Member Experience teams and cross-functional departments, while ensuring achievement of Retail Experience goals
- Demonstrate empathy with colleagues by communicating thoughts and ideas openly while promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging towards others in the workplace

How you will succeed:
- Previous work experience in a customer service role, with cash handling experience as an asset
- High School diploma or relevant working experience
- Flexibility to work all scheduled hours which include some evenings and Saturdays
- Proven understanding of computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
- Effective organizational time management, and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: CAD $47,775 â $60,400 annually
Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the roleâs requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
