Pacific First Aid Ltd. in Vancouver, BC is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operation of our warehouse, including administrative, logistics operations, and inventory management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and work closely with internal departments for the smoothness of daily operations;
- Ensure stock flow accuracy and stock locations are timely and properly recorded;
- Liaise with external and internal parties in daily stock handling operations;
- Rationalize the layout and management of the warehouse, plan the storage space and adjust the position;
- Execute daily pick and pack order, and monitor order completion progress;
- Pack and build kits;
- Reduce the dead stock and optimal routing of stock picking;
- Work with online retail platforms;
- Support the Management to set up guidelines and redesign workflow for continuous improvement in efficient operation;
- Responsible for the safety and protection of goods and personnel in the warehouse;
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma
- Fluency in English
- Ability to lift/carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders without assistance
- Able to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
- Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a cooler environment
- Good command of MS office
- Previous warehouse experience as an asset
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and/or forklift
- Previous experience in a produce related field or wholesale field as an asset
- Fluency in second language is an asset
