Drive safety excellence as a Senior Process Safety Engineer, ensuring compliance and risk reduction. Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders and engage regularly in field operations throughout Alberta.
This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of operating assets through effective process safety management. You will implement and oversee the Process Safety Management (PSM) program while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership. By establishing performance indicators and leading incident investigations, you will strengthen the safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the Process Safety Management program
• Serve as a safety advisor, providing governance insights
• Lead the PSM Steering Committee for continuous improvement
• Monitor safety performance and identify risks
• Champion investigative processes and root cause analyses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with active P. Eng designation
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, focusing on PSM
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements in Alberta
• Experience in process safety standards and practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Lead the implementation of process safety initiatives and create a team
