Woodfield Canada is a family run business in the automotive industry that focuses on commercial vehicle accessories & work vehicle modifications. We are continually growing and are currently looking to add another installer to our team. Job duties would include:
Preparing the vehicle for installation.
Moving the vehicle into the work bay.
Lifting products into / onto the vehicle for installation.
Review wiring schematics and layout drawings.
Installing the accessories on / in the vehicle.
Properly fastening products to the vehicle.
Filling in paperwork, recording hours and vehicle information.
Clean shop bay.
Keep tools clean & organized (all tools are provided by the company).
Additional duties as needed.
Candidates must have the following capabilities:
Ability to work in a shop workplace.
Safely & skillfully work with hand tools including drills, grinders etc.
Be able to work physically for up to 10 hours per day.
Be able to lift heavy products into the vehicle.
Basic understanding of electrical wiring.
Previous automotive experience (preferred but not required).
Candidates will be working in a team environment and must have the following work ethics:
Clean work ethic.
Team player, respect others in the shop.
Respect the tools.
Respect the customer's property & vehicles.
Bring a positive attitude.
Have an outlook of continuous improvement.
Compensation:
Pay rate & hours can be discussed depending on qualities & needs. ($24 - $26 / hour).
