Job Description:
- The Program Management Office (PMO) is a strategic function within Procurement. The PMO’s mission is to support and improve every aspect of Procurement activities for client across the Americas and Africa.
- The PMO team helps drive process governance, business transformation efforts and overall business improvements to provide effective and effective solutions for procurement practitioners to generate value for our business.
- This temporary PMO Specialist role will be a fantastic opportunity to leave a permanent mark on the Procurement function, in the midst of the organization’s transformation.
- The current scope rebuilding within the PMO team will be an exciting window to initiate change across the function and make a difference.
- You will be able to work closely with the PMO Manager who you will report to, but also with senior procurement leaders, regional business partners, category managers and cross-functional teams across the Americas.
- The role consists also of engaging with all types of stakeholders at many different organizational levels.
As a PMO Specialist, you will:
- Provide support to category/business partner (BP) teams on their sourcing projects by proposing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to generate cost savings.
- Provide centralized tracking of improvements to Procurement processes and of tool governance.
- Support the building of a new platform for Lean Board/ Townhall sessions for the region (frequency to be determined), ensuring engagement and alignment on priorities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and KPIs to provide actionable insights for leadership and regional teams.
- Be the SME and drive data quality initiatives across systems such as Momentum and Supplier Management Tool (SMT), including clean-up, validation, and automation.
- Implement process improvements and automation for reporting and visualization to enhance efficiency.
- Support capacity and demand management, change management, and portfolio tracking through PMO frameworks.
- Locate and give access to training materials and onboarding programs for procurement tools and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions to address procurement challenges and ensure alignment with global standards.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, including simplification of tools and governance processes
- Partner with PMO Australia and the Momentum Working Group to drive Momentum simplification efforts and continuously improve our internal One Momentum Dashboard.
- Work closely with RTP Africa to standardize practices and provide guidance and support on PMO tools such as Momentum, ensuring proper onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for regional teams.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Have an appetite for change implementation learning, showing a curious and open mind.
- 5 years or more experience in report preparation based on ability to analyze complex data, provide meaningful interpretation & able to provide compelling arguments for change.
- Experience designing project management reports and streamlining processes in a lean approach
- Technical skills and knowledge about project management methodologies, processes and tools.
- Social skills to properly drive engagement and enthusiasm around PMO initiatives with Category/BP Teams
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Excel and SAP, Power Apps/ Power automate
- Experience effectively working with teams outside formal lines of authority to deliver results.
- Demonstrated autonomy and drive for role mastery in your day-to-day tasks.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- High proficiency in both written and spoken French and English.
- Great presentation and synthesis skills
