Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking individuals for the positions of Support Services Workers in our Patient Food Services and Environmental Services departments.
Employees in the Environmental Services department can expect to perform environmental cleaning, distribution of consumables,the appropriate collection of facility waste for HSN, and transport patients to and from various areas within the Hospital.Employees in the Patient Food Services Department will take patient menus, produce and deliver patient meals, and collect and clean all dishware and flatware. A valid Ontario Food Handler’s Certificate is required for Patient Food Services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent (i.e. General Education Development (GED) or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE)). We are looking for individuals with a minimum of three (3) months recent, relevant experience, but we will consider individuals with other experiences and expertise.
