Join our agile team as a Marketing and Recruitment Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in connecting motivated individuals with life-changing educational opportunities at Westlake College. This exciting position combines consultative sales with student recruitment, allowing you to directly impact lives while building a rewarding career in education.
As our Marketing and Recruitment Specialist, you'll guide prospective students through their educational journey, from initial inquiry to successful enrollment in our Business, Health, and Logistics programs. You'll be an ambassador for our college's mission and values while achieving strong sales targets in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Generate qualified leads through various channels (digital, events, referrals)
- Conduct out outbound calls and follow-up communications
- Maintain Participate in career fairs, community events, and open houses
- Develop and maintain a robust prospect pipeline
- Build relationships with high schools and community organizations
Student Consultation & Sales
- Conduct in-person and virtual consultations with prospective students
- Assess student needs and recommend appropriate programs
- Present program information, career outcomes, and college benefits
- Guide students through the enrollment process
- Address concerns and overcome objections professionally
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective students
- Provide ongoing support throughout the decision-making process
- Coordinate with financial aid and academic teams
- Follow up with enrolled students to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain relationships for future referral opportunities
- Gather feedback to improve recruitment processes
Marketing & Events
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Conduct campus tours and information sessions
- Represent the college at external events and job fairs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Post-secondary diploma or degree; preference for Business, Marketing, or Communications
Experience
2+ years in sales, recruitment, or customer service roles

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Earnings Potential
Base Salary: $36,000 - $40,000 annually
Commission Structure: Competitive commission on all enrollments ($100 per enrollment)
Annual Incentives: Team goals met: (5000.00 profit sharing)
Pay: $36,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
