Oversee underground mining activities as a Supervisor, prioritizing safety and productivity across all shifts. Lead your team by engaging in safety protocols and organizing daily operations effectively.
In this supervisory role, you'll be responsible for planning and executing production activities while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Collaborating with your team and management, you'll communicate priorities and offer technical expertise to solve potential issues. Emphasizing continuous improvement, you will develop skills within your team and ensure adherence to the Ontario Mining Act.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead daily mining and production activities
• Conduct safety inspections and daily huddles
• Communicate maintenance and production needs
• Support mine project planning and technical solutions
• Ensure adherence to safety and productivity metrics
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant underground experience
• Grade 12 or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of the Ontario Mining Act
• Supervisor Common Core training completion
• Effective communication and leadership skills
Drive secure and effective operations while mentoring your team in an underground mining workplace.
