Job Summary We are seeking a Site Services Technician/Equipment Operator to join our team.
Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, the Site Services Technician/Equipment Operator is responsible for providing repairs, overhauls, and new builds to mining related equipment.
Key Responsibilities Repairing, servicing, and rebuilding equipment as directed.
Actively participating in developing and building preventative maintenance schedules and objectives.
Supporting all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.
Install, maintain, modify, and repair machinery and stationary equipment.
Troubleshoot production problems and take preventative or corrective action as required.
Perform operational equipment checks.
Repair indoors and outdoors piping and pumping systems Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
Operate Mobile equipment and assist mine and plant operations where possible.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and protected work environment.
Follow health and safety policies to ensure safety and environmental protection.
Collaborate with planning departments and shop personnel to ensure maintenance requirements are met.
Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
Required Experience and Skill Set Heavy Equipment Operator experience within a site services mining environment 5+ years of relevant professional work experience Job Conditions Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
Able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
