Senior People & Culture Business Partner Add expected salary to your profile for insights We’re looking for a Senior People & Culture Business Partner to partner with our Support Office and Retail leadership teams, providing practical HR guidance, building leadership capability and driving initiatives that strengthen culture and performance across the business. This is a hands‑on, operational HR role where you’ll work closely with leaders to support with day‑to‑day people matters while also identifying opportunities to improve processes, capability and engagement across the business. What You'll Be Doing Partner with Support Office and Retail leaders to provide practical people advice and support effective decision making Manage employee relations matters including investigations, performance management, misconduct and workplace concerns Coach and develop leaders to build strong people management capability Ensure HR practices align with Australian employment legislation and relevant industry awards, particularly the General Retail Industry Award Manage workers compensation claims, injury management and return‑to‑work processes Partner with leaders on recruitment processes and talent planning Support and drive initiatives across engagement, wellbeing and culture Lead the annual remuneration review process and support reward and recognition initiatives Maintain and improve HR processes, policies and frameworks About You Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior People & Culture role Strong experience managing employee relations, investigations and performance matters Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards, particularly the General Retail Industry Award Experience partnering with leaders to build capability and navigate people challenges A confident communicator who can influence, coach and build trusted relationships Highly organised with strong written communication skills Passion for creating positive, inclusive workplaces where people can do their best work Experience working in retail or fast‑paced environments will be highly regarded About Us At Alquemie Group, we believe in creating a supportive and inclusive setting that promotes and celebrates individuality and an entrepreneurial spirit.
