Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end testing strategy across automation, functional, and performance testing.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile (Android & iOS) applications.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and fast feedback.
Drive cross‑browser, cross‑device, accessibility, and mobile testing coverage.
Enable and guide performance testing strategy and execution.
Mentor QA and engineering teams on best practices, frameworks, and testing maturity.
Review existing testing practices and continuously improve quality, speed, and reliability.
Enablement, Mentorship & Adoption
Build and execute automation adoption roadmaps across teams with varying maturity levels.
Mentor QA and engineering team members on
Web and mobile automation frameworks
Testing best practices
CI/CD integration and test lifecycle management
Salary
The average base salary pay range for this position is $90,000

$150,000 CAD.
Qualifications
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Quality assurance with at least 5+ years of experience in Web Automation and Mobile Automation.
Should have experience in automated web testing, Mobile testing and setting up web automation frameworks.
Experience of working with Automated Web test Framework with Selenium and Playwright.
Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable, and robust test automation frameworks.
Good understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON).
Demonstrated experience in cross

functional testing, UI testing, and compatibility testing.
Solid understanding testing web & Mobile applications, REST API’s (ideally using Postman).
Mature understanding of the different types of testing that QA will engage in: Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management.
Desired Qualifications
Hands‑on experience of working with upcoming web automation frameworks such as Cypress, Appium and Playwright or similar frameworks is a big plus.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Prior experience of working in a Testing Centre of excellence or similar set up would be an added advantage.
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in test automation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills working with diverse distributed teams located across the globe.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
