$21.53/hr Reports to: Site Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Access Control: Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
Verify identification and issue temporary passes as needed.
Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols , to detect and deter any suspicious activity or potential security threats.
Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance and alarmsystemsto identify and respond to any security breaches.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation and minimize risk.
Report Writing: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other security documentation as needed.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other security personnel.
Customer Service: Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security standards. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Must possess a valid BC Security Workers License or be willing to obtain it.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security
Clearance and be minimum 19 years of age.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
