Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support with medication administration according to care plans and protocols
Help clients with mobility and transfers to promote independence and safety
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning as needed
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a protected workplace
Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance quality of life
Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
Follow all care procedures related to dementia care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities
Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is preferred
Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and medication administration
Robust caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans
Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
Reliable, attentive, and committed to providing respectful support tailored to each individual’s needs
