The Sport & Recreation Services team, part of the City’s Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department, is seeking an IMPACT Associate to support inclusive sport programs, community events, and special initiatives across the city. This role offers hands‑on experience while contributing to programs that promote access, equity, and belonging.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that provides orientation, mentorship, and ongoing guidance, with exposure to municipal recreation services and cross‑departmental collaboration.

WORK FROM HOME
The successful candidate for this posting may be eligible for participation in a hybrid, work from home arrangement in alignment with the City’s Work from Home Policy. Such arrangements are determined with each employee and subject to change based on operational needs and policy direction.
POSITION FUNCTION
As an IMPACT Initiative Associate hired under the City of Victoria’s Inclusive Municipal Program for Advancing Careers and Training, you will be given meaningful and challenging assignments while being introduced to a career in municipal government. In this Associate position, you will assist with projects within a specific City department, contribute to the overall goals of the work unit, have job shadowing opportunities, and participate in educational experiences.
