Job Duties Maintain, develop and instruct the theory and shop components of the Alberta Electrician Apprenticeship program Ongoing planning and curriculum review Participate in school, program, and other polytechnic service committees Program promotion and student recruitment Qualifications Minimum 5 years post‑Journeyperson work experience Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Effective time management and organizational skills Aptitude for mentoring and coaching others Comfortable with public speaking, and able to convey course subjects to diverse students and learning styles Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years post‑secondary teaching experience Experience teaching post‑secondary learners through both in‑person and online formats Preference will be given to candidates with Journeyperson certification in one or more additional related trades Salary: Commensurate with education and experience Benefits and Compensation Information
