As this is a term position until August 4, 2028, current indeterminate Government of Nunavut employees may be offered a competitive transfer assignment for the duration of the term if they are deemed to be the successful candidate, however this is subject to managerial approval.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and serving as a member of the management team of the Health Information Unit (HIU), the Director eHealth leads a team of skilled professionals and analysts to manage the health technology function throughout Nunavut. This position provides oversight in the establishment and maintenance of the eHealth (electronic health record and Telehealth) programs and information systems in each community.

Requirements\nThe Director serves as a member of the senior management team for the HIU and plays a key role in planning, implementing, and supporting new information systems to meet the Department’s evolving information requirements including:
