Reporting to the Moosonee Campus Manager, the successful candidate will perform duties associated with preparing and delivery of daily meals.
What you will be doing: Prepare meals and snacks for children in the daycare centre; Prepare food according to allergies/sensitivities of the children; Clean and disinfect kitchen to Ministry of Health standards; Properly store and maintain inventory of food and cleaning products; Follow approved menu plan; and Deliver food to the daycare centre.
What you will need to be considered: High school diploma or equivalent; Food Handler Certification or equivalent; 5 years of related practical experience; and Ability to provide a copy of immunization record; and Valid Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check.
Please note this position qualifies under Northern Colleges protocol for hiring in remote regions.
Candidates with relevant experience and who do not meet the education requirements may be given consideration based on relevant equivalent qualifications.
