The College is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Basic Skills'' Education Workshop Teacher/Instructor at Dorchester Penitentiary.

Salary Range: $33.85 to $52.08 per hour, based on experience and level of post

Creating a dynamic workshop environment that encourages personal growth and barrier reduction.
Maintaining strict inventory control and enforcing security protocols for tools, materials, and assets.
Collaborating with case management teams, CSC staff, and community organizations on program delivery.
Conducting safety checks, submitting observation reports, and upholding health and security standards.
Supervising student tutors and cleaners, ensuring compliance with CSC program guidelines.
Promoting cultural awareness through visual displays and presentations aligned with significant dates/months.
Building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders, as well as other related duties.
Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor of Education Degree (OR) a Teacher''s College Diploma AND a valid New Brunswick Teacher''s Certificate AND a Diploma in Carpentry (Red Seal) OR Diploma in Carpentry (Red Seal) AND an Adult Education Certificate.
Must have valid WHMIS and Basic First Aid training.
Preference may be given to candidates with at least one (1) year of related, recent work experience.
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post
