Required Experience

trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using heavy equipment as necessary
Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, including automotive repairs when required
Follow all federal, provincial, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with the fleet and operations team regarding delivery schedules and issues
Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management as needed
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license
Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance
Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in various environments
Prior experience with freight logistics or warehouse operations is a plus
