Compensation Range: $85,000 to $110,000 CAD

Job Purpose Lead the Quality activities within new product development projects, supporting the implementation of Quality mindset to the entire project teams, guiding the team to identify potential failures in an earlier stages of product development utilizing Quality tools and lessons learned. Support the identification of project risks and required actions to mitigate them and problem solving focusing on effective and robust technical solutions.
Implement and coordinate activities of Advanced Quality Plan inside the new developments, according to Project Development System and ensuring compliance of development activities to QMS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan and execute Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities across development projects
Ensure compliance with system and embedded software development standards
Monitor adherence to SDLC processes and quality gates
Conduct software and system process reviews and milestone assessments
Report quality status at defined project milestones
Establish the Project Quality Plan and ensure its effective implementation throughout the project lifecycle, in compliance with contractual requirements and EnerSys standards.
Develop and implement project

specific Quality Plans aligned with the APQP methodology.
Coordinate and manage PPAP documentation packages to support successful transition to series production.
Facilitate and lead Design and Process FMEA sessions to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Drive risk‑based project execution and early failure detection.
Support identification, evaluation, and mitigation of project risks.
Coordinate structured problem‑solving activities (8D, root cause analysis, etc.).
Support product validation and qualification activities per internal and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with internal QMS and applicable standards (e.g., Quality, Safety and cybersecurity frameworks).
Perform and support project status audits and process audits.
Monitor quality KPIs and define corrective actions when required.
Represent Quality function in front of PMO and Engineering leadership.
Drive continuous improvement of system and software development processes.
Contribute to definition and maintenance of software quality standards.
Coach and train project teams on quality tools and methodologies.
Promote a culture of structured development and regulatory readiness.
