Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven Paid Ads Manager to take ownership of media buying and strategy execution. This role is perfect for a specialist who has spent the last 3–5 years in platforms daily and is looking for a seat at the table in a growing agency.
The Paid Ads Manager will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns. Concentrating on generating leads, sales and brand awareness through platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and others.
You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a paid media campaign, from initial strategy to final reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget & Account Management: Manage and optimize monthly ad spend ranging from four-figure budgets to six-figure portfolios across multiple client accounts, ensuring efficient allocation and strong return on investment.
- Campaign Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute full-funnel paid media strategies aligned with business goals, defining clear KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Campaign Lifecycle Ownership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of paid media campaigns, including strategy, build, launch, optimization, and scaling across platforms.
- Platform Management: Plan, launch, and manage campaigns primarily across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), with opportunities to expand into additional platforms.
- Audience & Keyword Targeting: Conduct in-depth keyword research and audience analysis to ensure campaigns reach the most relevant, high-intent users.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with designers and copywriters to develop high-performing ad creative and messaging that drives engagement and conversions.
- Optimization & Testing: Continuously monitor campaign performance and run structured A/B tests across ad creative, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve CPA, ROAS, and overall performance.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign data and deliver clear, actionable performance reports and dashboards via our reporting tools, translating complex data into strategic insights for clients and internal teams.
- Technical Tracking & Measurement: Build and maintain robust conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 to ensure accurate performance measurement and attribution.
- AI-Enhanced Marketing: Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to accelerate research, generate audience insights, and streamline campaign workflows.
- Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate on and test landing page improvements across platforms such as Shopify to maximize conversion rates and campaign efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on media buying experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills: A deep understanding of attribution models, GA4, and Google Search Console, Google Ads Editor, etc.
- Communication: Strong ability to explain the "why" behind the data to internal teams in an effort to improve performance. Comfortable working remotely & on frequent video conferences (daily).
Preferred (The "Extra Mile"):
- AI & Dev Background: Familiarity with development (HTML/JS) or a strong background in AI prompting/automation is highly preferred. We use AI to augment our skills, not replace them.
- Certifications: Active Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
- Agency Experience: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
- French Language Skills: Ability to communicate in French is a plus, especially for reviewing ad copy, keywords, and client communications in both official languages.
