Job Requirements
\nAssemble parts to create dairy parlour components accurately, thoroughly and quickly for installation in dairy barns\n
Blueprint reading
\nUtilize hand and power tools to make, assemble or repair parts and products\n
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to maintain high standards
\n
Troubleshoot issues with assembly team and make necessary adjustments
\n
Operate forklifts safely to move materials as needed
\n
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
\n
Work with team members in order to assemble products/improve assembly processes
\n
Provide quality workmanship consistent with company and industry standards
\n
Follow Health and Safety requirements in all regards ensuring prevention of illness/injury
\n
Other duties as assigned
\n
Skills and Qualifications
\nProven assembly experience to assemble parts effectively and efficiently\n
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
\n
Previous farm/agricultural/dairy experience is an asset
\n
Basic blueprint reading
\nFamiliarity/proficiency in using hand and power tools\n
Strong manual dexterity with the ability to pay attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks
\n
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
\n
Must be able to work unsupervised and take full ownership of the job, come on the job and “get to it”
\n
Ability to perform physical tasks that may require lifting, pushing, pulling, bending/stooping/crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods of time
\n
Good hand eye coordination
\nStrong work ethic and a desire to be part of a high
