Inventory Coordinator (8+ month Contract) – Montréal, QC
A fast-growing global technology company is expanding its footprint in advanced automation within the warehouse/distribution supply chain. This organization is known for deploying cutting-edge robotics and intelligent systems to optimize large-scale operations.
As part of a high-impact partnership in Montréal, they are building a next-generation fulfillment environment and are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to support on-site engineering operations.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role where you’ll play a key part in keeping critical systems running smoothly by ensuring the right parts and materials are always available.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe inventory/storeroom environment
- Support engineering and maintenance teams by issuing spare parts quickly and accurately
- Monitor stock levels using min/max thresholds and initiate timely replenishment orders
- Coordinate with suppliers to track and expedite deliveries when needed
- Ensure sufficient inventory is available to support both scheduled maintenance and unexpected repairs
- Manage and update inventory systems, including purchase orders and stock records
- Perform regular cycle counts and maintain audit-ready inventory accuracy
- Analyze inventory data and generate basic reports to support operational decisions
- Collaborate closely with on-site engineering teams to minimize downtime
Must-Have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a stockroom, inventory, or stores environment
- Experience supporting maintenance or engineering teams with parts and materials
- Familiarity with inventory systems such as CMMS, ERP, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (basic to intermediate)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Clear communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, aviation, automotive, or similar environments
- Exposure to cycle counting, audits, and inventory reconciliation processes
- Bilingual (English required; French is a strong asset)
- Experience working in highly regulated or clean environments

- On-site role in Montréal, QC
- Day shift: Monday to Friday (standard business hours)
- Casual work environment
