We are working with a leading national law firm seeking to expand its Labour & Employment group in Toronto. The firm is looking for senior-level lawyers at the Senior Associate, Counsel, or Partner level, with a solid management-side L&E; practice and ideally, a portable book of business.
This role focuses on advising employers across a broad range of labour and employment matters, including employment standards, wrongful dismissal, employment contracts, labour arbitrations, injunctions, collective bargaining, labour disputes, and related employment litigation. The practice places less emphasis on human rights matters and is more focused on traditional labour and employment advisory and advocacy work.
Counsel roles may offer reduced billable hour expectations compared to standard targets.
