Role Overview\nWe are looking for a seasoned Data Modeler to join our team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data modeling—from initial business discovery to the implementation of physical designs. You must be equally comfortable whiteboarding concepts with business stakeholders and optimizing physical schemas for high-performance platforms like Netezza.

Core Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with business partners to understand complex business logic and translate those requirements into accurate data models.

Multi-Layer Modeling: Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical models to ensure data integrity and scalability.
\n
Platform Design: Develop and refine designs specifically targeted for the Netezza platform, ensuring alignment with our resource model.
\n
Architecture Evolution: Support the integration of Lakehouse concepts into our existing Data Warehouse environment.
\n
Tooling & Standards: Use ErWin (or similar enterprise modeling tools) to document and manage the enterprise data model.

Requirements\nRequired Technical Skills
\n
Advanced Modeling: Extensive experience in Dimensional, 3NF, and Vault modeling across all three design layers (Conceptual/Logical/Physical).
\n
Platform Proficiency: Must be comfortable and willing to work with the Netezza platform.
\n
Data Environments: Robust foundation in Data Warehouse architecture and modern Lakehouse concepts.
\n
Software: Hands‑on proficiency with ErWin or a comparable enterprise modeling suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with Databricks.

Previous experience in the transportation or logistics sector.
