To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking a Welding Supervisor. In this role you will lead the daily and weekly performance of the welding department through strong planning, people leadership, and disciplined execution of the production system. This role sets direction, develops leaders, ensures safety and quality standards are met, and drives problem solving and continuous improvement on the floor.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Set the production plan and review progress with Department and Team Leads.
- Adjust plans as needed to maintain safety, quality, and on time delivery.
- Conduct regular observations to check system health, identify risks, and engage with employees.
- Coach and mentor leads, reinforcing priorities, standard work, and problem solving expectations.
- Own the follow up related to quality issues leaving the department, safety incidents, and issues escalated from leads.
- Manage people processes including timesheets and overtime approval, training, performance reviews, hiring and onboarding.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to resolve issues and improve systems.
