LINE COOK will have several key duties and responsibilities that are essential to achieve success in their role. This includes working collaboratively with managers, ensuring top-notch health and safety standards, and training all kitchen staff. Other duties may include:
Check food plating, temperature and correct portion size.
Set standards for kitchen cleanliness and ensuring cleaning is done regularly
Maintain prep list and freezer pulls
Regularly check and record fridge temperatures on temp sheets
Make sure front of house staff and kitchen staff maintain an amicable relationship
