General Description
Under the direction and supervision of the Team Lead, Welders are responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient completion of welding related activities in accordance with applicable company practice/legislation. Welding metal components using various methods to fabricate, and/or repair heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and in accordance with the assigned schedule or timeline.

Responsibilities
Perform welding duties using GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding), or SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), Oxy/Acet. cutting, Plasma cutting, Gouging and Lancing.
Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions. Welds range from tacking, jig work to complex welds, performed in varying positions.
Work includes set-up, laying out work using fixtures and guides to repair, modify, or fabricate parts and/or equipment products
Operate and/or use related equipment and tools which include forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), cutting torches, hand tools, drills, punches.
Keep equipment operational performing checks prior to use and flagging faulty equipment and complete the daily check sheets.
Read, understand and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures.
Maintain level of work performance in accordance with standards and/or job order specifications.
Maintain a safe and clean working setting by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performing PM inspections on machines to meet scheduled requirements and follow through.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Shop and Plant floor workplace.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.20-$40.22 per hour
