We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and construction painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards. The Painter will work closely with clients and other team members to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining a secure and organized work environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces to enhance appearance and durability.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently during the painting process.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure cohesive results.
- Maintain a clean work area by properly disposing of materials and cleaning tools after use.
