About the Role
While our Project Accountants’ day-to-day tasks may look different every day, you’ll primarily manage a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, with responsibility for:
- Leading monthly billing and ensuring accurate, timely revenue capture
- Partnering with Project Managers on contracts, changes, and financial performance
- Monitoring WIP, identifying risks, and improving billing conversion
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and project performance insights
- Managing receivables and supporting collections conversations
- Strengthening financial controls and month-end accuracy
- Identifying and driving improvements in systems, reporting, and workflows

This is a role for someone who wants to expand their impact, not just execute tasks.
Your application should show us:
- 5+ years in project accounting, project finance, or professional services
- Robust understanding of billing models (T&M;, lump sum, milestones)
- Experience working across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Confidence working with operational leaders (not just finance)
- Solid systems capability (ERP experience; BST is a strong asset)
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA (or progress toward it) is an asset but not required.
- Past experiences mentoring team members or clients is an asset
