Employment Type: FALCON is looking for a reliable and dynamic individual to join our wildlife management team at Canadian Force Base Trenton Ontario (8 Wing) and Mountain View Detachment. This is a full time contractual position to cover a maternity leave from May 2026 to August 2027, with possibility of extension.

FALCON is a world leader in its field of expertise, integrating ecological tools (e.g., falconry, canine teams, wildlife emergency response) and technological tools (e.g., drones, bird detection radar and software).
Start date & Schedule
Training and security screening will begin in May 2026.
Schedule will be around 40h per week.
End of contract will be in August 2027.
We are in operation 7 days a week, 365 days a year, one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Candidates will be required to work shifts, holidays and weekends and must be willing to work on call. Shift lengths and the number of hours worked vary seasonally.
Your tasks
As a Wildlife Control Officer (WCO), you will be using various tools and methods to mitigate the risks posed by wildlife hazards at 8 Wing and Mountain View Detachment. Your daily duties will contribute to keeping the runways safe for airport personnel and the public. Your tasks will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
