Sooke Veterinary Hospital is a busy, friendly, locally owned small animal veterinary practice in beautiful Sooke, BC on Vancouver Island, seeking a 32 to 40 hour per week Veterinary Technician. We are looking for someone with prior experience in the veterinary field, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with exotic species. We welcome applications from Registered Veterinary Technicians and are also open to experienced candidates with a solid background in exotic medicine.

New RVT graduates with the right attitude and drive are encouraged to apply, as we are happy to train and support the right fit. Our location offers a manageable commute against traffic flow, making travel to Sooke easier than expected.

Duties include a mix of exam room and surgical responsibilities, including patient care, anesthesia monitoring, cleaning, dentistry, and client communication.
