SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Person who drives an automobile and has the legally required license to do so.
\n
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
\n
Supervise the loading and unloading of passengers (including handicapped passengers) into adaptive vehicle;
Transport passengers (including handicapped passengers) inside and outside of the facility to designated areas in a punctual and timely manner;
Guide passengers to the appropriate seat and monitor their behavior;
Operate adaptive vehicle and equipment such as the hydraulic lift;
Complete the mechanical inspection sheet, report any inconsistencies or repair;
Ensure safety by applying security and driving rules;
Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure comfort of the passengers;
Plan routes in advance to minimize the number of stops and maximize fuel efficiency;
Ensure that passengers arrive at their destinations on time and help them settle into their facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma;
Valid driver’s permit class 4A meeting the standards of the Société d'assurance automobile du Québec and the Ministère des Transports du Québec.
