In this role under the Chief Administrative Officer, your focus will be on coordinating development applications and planning initiatives. You will also administer the Tourism Accommodation Levy program and liaise with provincial agencies. Your expertise in GIS will support the various mapping and planning projects aimed at community enhancement and economic prospect.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage municipal planning and development processes
• Support business retention and expansion initiatives
• Maintain GIS mapping for infrastructure and planning
• Assist with stakeholder engagement and consultations
• Coordinate funding applications and proposals
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Planning, Economic Development, or similar
• Experience in municipal governance or planning
• GIS skills preferred
• Excellent communication and engagement abilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence required
