Required Experience

educational/treatment groups for patients and their families

Provide outreach support for youth in the community, in consultation with the CASA Classrooms and Transition teams
\n
Develop and maintain a list of community resources and use these to refer patients and families to community agencies for additional mental health support
\n
Qualifications and Experience
\n
Bachelor’s degree in social work, arts (majoring in psychology), education or related field preferred. Minimum of three years of practical experience in a children’s mental health treatment setting, with a particular emphasis on dual diagnosis, learning disability, developmental delay and executive dysfunction
\n
Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to a vehicle
\n
Conditions of Employment A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate
\n
Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA) or Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments (SIVA) training, as well as physical ability to perform all interventions
\n
