Located approximately 17 kilometers west of Logan Lake and about 50 kilometers southwest of Kamloops in British Columbia, the surrounding areas of HVC have an abundant offering of outdoor experiences.
Role Overview The Mine Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the Mine Maintenance Senior Supervisor, is accountable for coordinating trades, schedules, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold company standards within the maintenance department.
This role operates on a 4x4 schedule, alternating between day and night shifts.
Additionally, the supervisor will provide coverage across various areas of Mine Maintenance, including the Shop, Field, Gas, and Electrical Shop, ensuring all areas are adequately staffed and supervised.
Staffing support and coverage will be provided as needed, based on the direction of the Mine Maintenance Senior Supervisor.
We are looking for someone with robust organization and planning skills, who has experience with employee relations and has the ability to work well with a team.
Interpersonal and communication skills will be vital for success in this role.
You will be a key player in the coordination of quality maintenance and repair of mine equipment to improve availability and reliability of production.
You will advise the troubleshooting of equipment failures to resolve root cause and initiate appropriate remedial actions. HVC operates a primarily Cat equipment fleet.

range plan Work with the Senior Supervisor to resolve need for, and approve the use of, overtime and resources to ensure operational requirements are met Collect and analyze work delay codes to identify challenges to timely completion of scheduled jobs and work with available resources to reduce or eliminate identified delays Improve employee work performance and efficiency through supervision, completing evaluations, mentoring, and utilizing corrective action as required Ensure Preventative Maintenance compliance and that all repair history is accurately detailed Coordinate and recommend internal and external training for all skilled labour Ensure success of downtime hours, schedule compliance, and labour factor Key Performance Indicators Administer the collective agreement, safety, mine, and environmental regulations in a manner consistent with policies and procedures Qualifications Valid Journeyperson''s ticket, related technical diploma, or engineering degree Minimum one year supervisory or team leading experience Experience in execution, planning, and scheduling of maintenance work in an industrial setting Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, resolve issues, and drive accountability Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office Suite particularly in Excel, Outlook, and Word Pay Range: CAD $106,000
