year budgets and manage spending within your plan for Production, Waste Treatment/Janitorial and Logistics groups Apply data driven analysis and systematic approach to solving issues that arise Approve area changes for the Port Hope facility and sponsor both sustaining and improvement capital projects within your area of responsibility Improve performance of the organization through employee performance coaching and skill development Participate, plan and lead continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence initiatives to improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost Requirements of the position Post‑secondary education (Engineering, Science or Business degree or diploma) Leadership experience in manufacturing (5+ years) Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills Experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships in a unionized environment Strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Experience in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies Knowledge of Causal Analysis Tools Operating experience in a highly regulated industry Understanding of Quality Assurance standards such as CSA N285, Z299, ISO9000, NQA
