Required Experience

Thrive program staff are energetic, outdoorsy adults 19 or older who have previous experience leading children. Day Camp positions work 40

ā¢
45 hrs a week during the Summer Program (July and August).
***Class 5 license required***
The ideal candidate loves to be with children and see them grow, they will be skilled in and enjoy some of the following: swimming, sports, hiking, nature activities, arts and crafts, song leading, and games.

Position Details

Language: based camp setting but have a special focus on children who require extra support in order to be safe and succeed in an active outdoor group setting due to physical, psychological, emotional or other challenges such as language barriers, hearing impaired etc. This extra support allows children with diverse abilities to participate in camp life and activities who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate. The support staff will also engage as a regular camp activity leader, leading activities & overseeing the general health and safety, and recreation of the whole group, to help create an all
