led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Aecon supports the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Steel Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex steelwork design packages for the Nuclear Island at DNNP. This role will leverage deep technical expertise and site experience to ensure designs are constructible, safe, and compliant with nuclear standards. The Steel Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with design, construction, and client teams, supporting the reduction of rework, timely query resolution, and the safe, efficient realization of the project’s goals.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in structural steel/composite design and construction, preferably within nuclear, power, or large
