Duties

Implement and monitor behaviour intervention plans tailored to each child's unique needs
Collect data related to behavioural progress and treatment effectiveness
Collaborate with families to ensure consistency across environments
Provide direct support to children, including behavior management strategies and social skills training
Document all interventions, observations, and progress notes accurately in compliance with privacy regulations
Support children in daily activities, ensuring a safe and supportive workplace for patient care

Requirements

Prior experience working with children, preferably in special education or behavioral health settings
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and medical terminology
Solid skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to behaviour management
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
Ability to handle sensitive situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism
Relevant certifications or licenses in behavioural health or related fields are a plus, but not mandatory
Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in patient care and behavioural interventions
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
