Elevate community engagement with BCLC as a Senior Specialist in Social Purpose and Engagement, in a hybrid role based in Kamloops or Vancouver, BC. Drive impactful initiatives and build relationships while reflecting our mission for the greater good.
As the Senior Specialist, you will help realize BCLC’s social purpose through the Human Connection Project. Collaborating with various teams and community stakeholders, you’ll coordinate engagement activities that foster trust and positive outcomes. This role allows for flexible hours and potential travel across BC to enhance community connections and support stakeholder interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement the BCLC Human Connection project
• Build relationships with community groups and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social purpose
• Design engagement activities and capture project learnings
• Communicate updates and stakeholder feedback to leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge in strategic communications and engagement
• Solid analytical and research abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
