ABOUT OUR OPERATION

Ensure acceptable productivity levels in skipping, slinging, maintenance etc. to meet weekly mining schedules;
\n
Provide professional and technical support, sharing knowledge to support mine and plant projects as required. Anticipate technical problems. Stay current with and open to new technologies;
\n
Maintain good relations and promote positive attitude of employees;
\n
Process departmental documentation in a timely manner such as completing timesheets and tracking vacation. Administer policies such as absenteeism and discipline policies; initiate work orders;
\n
Awareness and consistency with the Agnico Eagle Mining Classification Guideline;
\n
Recommend input to annual budget setting and anticipate costs in accord to annual production/development on a monthly basis;
\n
Other duties as assigned.
\n
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
\nMinimum of five years of related Shaft experience;\n
Grade 12 education is required OR equivalent work experience, having the ability to fulfill the administrative duties as outlined in this job description;
\n
Competency with Ontario Mining Act and Regulations;
\n
Supervisors Common Core (within 12 months of job role);
\n
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
\n
