POSITION DESCRIPTION

Manoir Boisée Gagnon, a warm and welcoming private residence for seniors, has a Server/Waitress position available for a permanent, full time role! Working in a residence is more than just a job; it's a life experience. This is an opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of the service, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of seniors! Permanent full time position, approximately 30 hours per week, day and evening shifts between 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., and one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Offer the daily menu and take residents' orders appropriately.
Food Services
Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure positive teamwork
Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
Perform other related duties
Prepare the lunches and suppers for the Health Care department
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
Good communication
Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
