Required Experience

professionals, or small groups of specialized engineers as a highly specialized technical engineer in the Power sector.
Lead large or small projects.
Commit to and maintain project timelines and complete tasks within allocated time frames.
Document and track project tasks and related design documents (robust organizational skills).
Liaise with other discipline leads, project managers, vendors, contractors and clients to facilitate smooth flow of information for preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, and provide design clarifications and solutions during construction.
Have strong computer‑oriented skills (familiarity with AutoCAD, MathCAD, MS Office, Numerical Methods and solutions).
Proficiency in STAAD Pro Software for Structural Analysis.
Hands‑on expertise in the design of heavy industrial structures (steel, concrete, wood, masonry), preferably in the power generation industry; consulting engineering experience desirable.
Knowledge of power plant station structures and components (SSCs) is an asset.
Preparation and/or verification of procurement activities and deliverables.
Review technical content of supplier/vendor bids and technical submissions.
Perform required inspections for procurement of material.
Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
University degree in Civil‑Structural Engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of related engineering experience.
Registered or eligible to register with the PEO as a P.ENG.
Previous exposure to stations, structures and components of nuclear power plants.
Experience in the utility or power industry.
Proficiency in structural design for concrete and steel structures and use of STAAD Pro Software for Structural Analysis.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Compensation The expected annual compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $180,000 per annum.
