Introduction The Mining, Oil and Gas Branch of the Department administers provisions under The Oil & Gas Act, The Oil & Gas Production Tax Act and associated regulations relating to exploration, development, production and transportation of oil and gas.

Duties:
\nThis position will provide technical support to the Petroleum Engineer(s), and Petroleum Inspectors, assemble engineering data, and assist in the preparation of engineering studies and process engineering and well operations applications under The Oil and Gas Act. Additionally the position will process geophysical applications reviewed by this group. Senior Petroleum Technician is also responsible for production of the Weekly Activity Report.\n
