This role is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoyshands‑on involvement ,technical leadership, and working closely withengineers, clients, and contractors .Key Responsibilities As a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will:Create and reviewdetailed mechanical drawings and 3D modelsusingSolidWorks, AutoCAD, and InventorDeveloptechnical specificationsand performbasic engineering calculations(loads, tolerances, thermal, stress) within technologist scopeCoordinate withmechanical engineers, contractors, vendors, and fabrication teamsPrepare and maintainproject documentation, includingBOMs, schematics, test reports, and manualsSupportprototype development, testing, and design revisionsConductfield inspections, quality checks, and compliance reviewswith applicable codes and standardsProvideon‑site supportfor installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment assessmentsMentorjunior technologists and technicians, providing technical guidance and leadershipManagemultiple projects and deadlineswhile maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teamsApply expertise inmechanical systems, including:HVAC systemsFluid and piping systemsRotating equipmentManufacturing and fabrication processesQA/QC practicesQualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have experience inmechanical engineering technologyand infrastructure or industrial projects, including:Mechanical Engineering Technology diplomaCET certificationor equivalent (OACETT membership preferred)Proven experience inmechanical design and multidisciplinary projectsAdvanced proficiency inCAD software :SolidWorksAutoCADInventorRevit considered an assetStrong understanding ofmechanical systems, HVAC, fluid systems, and rotating equipmentAbility to performbasic engineering calculationsand interpret design codes and standardsExperience withQA/QC, fabrication, and construction environmentsHands‑on experience withinstallations, commissioning, and troubleshootingStrongcommunication, leadership, and mentoring skillsExperience coordinatingvendors, contractors, and project schedulesField experience includinginspections, measurements, and equipment assessmentsThis job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.The salary range for this role is between $60K
