Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and testing. Support continuous improvement initiatives and product standardization. Work on the shop floor as needed to validate designs and resolve production issues. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of mechanical design experience in heavy transportation, trailers, or similar industries. Strong experience with structural design, weldments, and sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency in CAD (Onshape preferred or similar parametric modeling software). Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (cutting, forming, welding, machining). Experience with GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.
