Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join their team! Review of month end close activities including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, financial result analysis and variance explanations Proficient in corporate tax compliance process including quarterly and annual projections, installment calculations, and variance analysis. Manage monthly and quarterly sales tax compliance (GST/HST and QST returns) and annual preparation of legal entity financial statements Oversee and manage corporate accounts receivables and billings Proactively improve the accounting process with automation and actively identify areas for improvement Professional accounting designation (CPA) ~5+ years of experience in corporate finance roles ~ Understanding of accounting standards (ASPE, US GAAP) and corporate finance concepts and internal controls ~ MS Office Suite skills and advanced Excel skills ~ Experience with Yardi software is preferred ~ Audit experience in the real estate industry is an asset ~ Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
